The day I discovered chia pudding my whole being paid attention. These nutrient-dense chia seeds rocked my world and my palate. Not to mention, each little seed packs a punch of power to support your body.

This most excellent dish is easy-to-make and has been known to involve a dance move or two during its preparation (just wait – you’ll see). This recipe is a great base and can be made with many optional additions to change up the flavor and suit your dance party mood.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup organic chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1 can full-fat organic coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup organic coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon organic cinnamon

Optional Toppings:

  • Organic cacao powder
  • Assorted organic fresh or frozen berries
  • Anything that’s both tasty and healthy

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients except the optional toppings into a 24oz jar or other container with a lid.

  2. Secure the lid and dance like nobody’s watching while you shake the jar and its ingredients. Trust me. Just do it.

  3. Open the jar and use a spoon to break up any clumps of chia seeds that may have formed.
  4. Return the lid and give it another dance party to hustle those flavors together.
  5. Place in the refrigerator for at least two hours. The longer, the better. Overnight is ideal.
  6. When ready, serve alone or sprinkle a spoonful of organic cacao powder or a bit of organic fruit on top.
  7. Eat and enjoy – and maybe cha-cha with your chia some more, too!
