The Importance of Mobility
Mobility — or the ability to move your body through its natural, full range of motion — is incredibly important to long-term health. The less we move, the less we can move, and the less effective we are at staying fit. It can become a downward spiral. The option, of course, is to take charge of the situation, and spiral upward instead.
Human Garage is dedicated to helping everyone move better, feel better, and function better. By linking your breath to full range-of-motion exercises that almost anyone can do, the loss of mobility can be stopped and even reversed.
In this follow-along video, Master Motion Mechanic Brian Donahoe will coach you through these movements:
- Breathing Mechanics
- Ankle Circles
- Dynamic Egyptian
- Deep Squat (Rest Position)
- Brettzel into Jade
- Standing Rotation
