Welcome to my living room workout series! Each week, I share a workout from my personal exercise routine — and then do it in real time so you can follow along. These workouts are optional and are simply one of the many ways you can accomplish your daily exercise.

Living Room Workout 45

This week’s workout is pretty unique we’re only doing two movements. We’re only going to do push-ups and squats. We’ve done routines using only these two exercises before, but not in this format.

We start with a round of one: 1 push-up, 1 squat. Then two: 2 push-ups, 2 squats. Then three. You get the idea. We’ll keep going in that pattern until we hit the end of our ten minutes.

How far do you think you’ll get? There’s no wrong answer. You and I will probably finish at different numbers, and we may be on different exercises at different points in the next ten minutes but the important part is: we’re going to give it all our (while still listening to our bodies) and do the best we can.

As always, no matter what fitness level you are right now, this workout probably sounds pretty simple, but trust me — that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Feel free to modify any of the movements to fit your goals, flexibility, and fitness level.
