Paleo Mayonnaise Recipe

Equipment:

  • Immersion blender
  • Mixing cup

Simple Paleo Mayonnaise Ingredients

  • 1 whole egg
  • 1.25 cups light olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Add the ingredients listed below each variation to create even more delicious, healthy options.

1. Garlic Mayo (Aioli)

  • 2 cloves garlic

2. Avocado Mayonnaise

  • 1/2 medium avocado

3. Basil Mayonnaise

  • 4-6 fresh minced basil leaves

4. Chipotle Mayonnaise

  • 1/2 – 1 whole can of chipotle chilies

5. Cilantro Lime Mayonnaise

  • 2-4 Tbsps minced cilantro
  • 2 Tbsps lime juice

6. Dill Pickle Caper Mayonnaise (aka Tartar Sauce)

  • 2 Tbsps minced dill pickles
  • 2 Tbsps minced capers
  • 1 Tbsp minced flat leaf parsley
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh tarragon
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh chives

7. Dill Pickle Caper Mayonnaise with Anchovies (Remoulade)

  • 2 Tbsps minced dill pickles
  • 2 Tbsps minced capers
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh tarragon
  • 1 Tbsp minced flat leaf parsley
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh chives
  • 2 mashed anchovies
  • 1 clove minced garlic

8. Garlic Rosemary Mayonnaise

  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsps fresh minced rosemary
  • 1 Tsp black pepper

9. Horseradish Mayonnaise

  • 1 Tbsp grated fresh horseradish
