New Call-to-action

Arm Strength: 10-Minute Follow Along Yoga Flow with Sima

Today’s focus is arm strength (as well as shoulder and upper back strength). I frequently hear people say that yoga is either too easy or too hard. That it focuses too much on breathing or it requires too much flexibility to even get started. Often people forget that yoga can also be about building strength. This flow is more of a vinyasa or power style of class and it will help you build up your arm muscles, while also getting you moving, stretching, and breathing deeply.

Note: Remember these poses and sequences are modifiable. The best movement practice is one that feels good to your body. Feel free to take a break any time, sit back into child’s pose, or adjust the movements to fit your body better. Over time you will see your strength, stability, and flexibility grow.
