“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act,
but a habit.”
– Aristotle

We must do certain things simply to sustain our lives. We eat, sleep, move, and we connect. These are not habits: They are required. Without them, we wouldn’t live.
While these activities determine whether we live, our habits surrounding them determine how well we live and the quality of our lives.
Most habits are an unconscious repetition of what we have always done. They usually follow the path of least resistance. This “easy path” often has long-term consequences that diminish your quality of life.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
We believe that all of us have the absolute power to shape the quality of our lives.
We believe that by becoming conscious about the habits that represent the basic, life-sustaining activities that we engage in every day, and then altering these habits in small ways, we can deeply affect our well-being and quality of life.
We believe the outcomes are both tangible and intangible: There is nutrition, and there is the way you enjoy food.
There is movement, and there is the way you experience freedom because of movement.
There is energy, and there is the joy that comes from having that energy all through the day.
There are people around you, and there is the connection you feel with them.
There is action, and there is your ability to reflect on and evaluate and improve your actions.
