Jalapeno Chicken Burger with Jicama Slaw
In this chicken burger recipe, we add minced jalapeno, along with garlic and chili powder for some subtle bite.

Slaw Ingredients:

jicama
julienned

green cabbage

Burger Ingredients:

ground chicken

Instructions
For jicama slaw:
Add cilantro, lime, coconut nectar, garlic, salt, and pepper to a blender.
Slowly drizzle in avocado oil while blending until smooth.
Pour mixture over vegetables and toss to combine.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
For chicken burgers:
Preheat grill to medium high heat.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients well.
Form into 6-ounce burgers and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Place on well-oiled grill or grill pan and cook on medium high for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Serve with lettuce wraps and top with slaw.
